Vaccinations

People should get vaccinated because vaccines prevent disease. Vaccines have been so effective that many people have never seen the pain, suffering, and disability diseases like polio, diphtheria, and others can cause. Immunization remains the most cost- effective and safe preventive measure that can be taken to protect children and adults from life-threatening disease. Health Maintenance Examination

The 60 minute full physical includes:
 

Review of Complete Medical History

  • Organ systems
  • Past medical and surgical history
  • Family history
  • Immunization history
  • Diet, exercise, smoking, alcohol use, and sexual behavior

Basic Physical Exam

  • Blood Pressure
  • Pulse Rate
  • Temperature
  • Weight and Height
  • Exam of skin, eyes, ears, mouth, neck, heart and vessels, lungs, breast, abdomen, back, extremities, and musculoskeletal, urogenital and nervous system
     

 Routine Laboratory Tests

  • Complete blood count
  • Kidney and liver profile
  • Urine analysis
  • Fasting blood sugar
  • Fasting lipid profile

Based On Sex

  • Women: Pap smear and breast exam
  • Men over age 40: PSA test

Recommendations will be made by the physician regarding other age-related tests at optional cost.


Annual Women's Exam

The 20-30 minute annual gynecological exam includes:

  • Pelvic Exam
     
  • Breast Exam

  • PAP Smear

  • Physician consultation

Children's First Aid (for parents and caretakers)

Accidents and emergencies are always unexpected and frightening for most of us particularly when our children are involved. Are you prepared?

Currently we are offering an informal 2 hour group seminar (max. 10 people) so you can learn or simply refresh knowledge of first aid measures for your children. The course will include materials and light refreshments and will take place in the clinic meeting room.
